This was our second time staying in the house, and it was even better than the first. The remodel is beautiful and the location is perfect. We come to Balboa Island for about 9-10 days every August and have stayed in 4 houses... this one is our absolutely favorite and perfect for our family. This year, we were so fortunate to be vacationing downstairs at the same time the owners, Amy Jo and John, were vacationing upstairs (and other family members later in the week). They couldn't have been more wonderful to my kids. It was a joy meeting them. I hope our Balboa travels overlap in the future. Can't wait to come back next summer!

This was our third annual stay at this rental and it was another perfect stay. The rental is recently renovated and the renovations are top notch and so well done. The rental is cozy, each bedroom is comfortable with comfy beds, fans, TVs and AC, and the patio is perfect to hangout on. The kitchen is open and perfectly equipped. The location literally couldn't be any better. Anytime we've contacted management about anything, they promptly reply and remedy any issues that arise. Couldn't recommend this rental more.

This property was absolutely incredible. The view is amazing and it is in the perfect location, very close to downtown. The property was immaculate, decorated comfortably and the kitchen well stocked with everything needed from pots and pans to wine glasses. Miriam the host was very kind. We enjoyed our time on Balboa Island. This unit was well appointed everything was quite new and top of the line. The only suggestion I have is to fix the outdoor shower so we could rinse our feet off before entering the condo. We found a bucket and used it to step into to rinse off the sand from the beach. The unit is very close to restaurants and a short walk to the ferry.

A stay at this property for a long-weekend with family was ideal. The house is beautiful, the best rental I have stayed in. Spotless. Beautiful decor. There are rules to keep it tip-top and the neatniks among us will love it. The waterfront views were delightful and being walking distance to shops and restaurants was ideal. The small beach that appeared at low tide kept the children busy. Great house!

Nice rental right on the harbor front. Love Balboa and its quaint feel with Main Street and the walls way around the island. Clean rental that puts you exactly where you want to be near Main Street. Loved it!

The perfect location! I loved being on the bayfront boaard walk. So nice not to have all the traffic going by all the time.
The house was fine. Not really up to par on the furniture upkeep. The kitchen cu[boards and the dining table in particular cou;d use some attention.
The bathrooms were rather cramped,and there was only one towel bar in the master bath. Pretty inconvenient for a couple.A few hooks would have been welcome
The management was just terrific. Jordan did a really nice job of making sure that everything was in working order for us.
The front patio was so nice!
I would certainly recommend this rental.

This was a perfect location! Great water view, steps to Marine Ave for dining and shopping! We all agree that we will be back soon!

Really good stay. Property as described. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of storage, nice patio over looking the water. Location was great, a short walk to Marine Avenue and the ferry. Handy to have a washer and dryer. Would happily stay again when we are next on the island.

Great location - walking distance to shops and restaurants and you can't beat the view. Management company was very responsive when we reached out.

My husband and I stayed here for almost 2 weeks. He is from Newport Beach so likes to visit often. The location of this home is perfect, as it was easy to walk to the shopping on Marine (the main street) and to the restaurants. It was quiet (nice neighbors) and nice view of all the boats. The beds were very comfortable and the fireplace was a huge plus. It was nice to have a carport for parking the car and a side yard to keep our bikes there. Easy walk to the ferry too!

We had 7 people sleeping there. A little tight with just 2 bathrooms. The beach in front of the rental was inaccessible at times due to high tide. No sand to sit on. Good part of this rental is there are no boats moored in front, so great for kids with paddle boards.

Perfect home and location , we will definitely return !!

We've been spending a few days in Newport Beach every summer for many years and this was by far one of our favorite properties we've stayed at. The house is well cared for and had plenty of room for our family. The patio and beach were relaxing and provided fun spaces for our kids to play. The location on the island was great and just a short walk to the ferry to the peninsula. In addition, the host was responsive and provided all the necessary information to ensure our stay was seamless and extremely enjoyable. It was an overall wonderful experience and we're already making plans to return in the future.

We stayed 5 nights in the rental and have too many good things to say about our stay. Everything was perfect. The property management company was incredibly responsive and answered the one question we had within minutes. The rental was clean, comfortable, and well equipped for our stay. Perfect location that is less then 5 minutes from the main street with shops and restaurants. Loved the little beach in front of the rental patio. Have already booked our next stay.

The jazz were comfortable the kitchen had everything we needed and you could not beat the patio which is right on the water. I rented this home to celebrate my mother’s 70th birthday. It’s was a girls trip! (Party of 6) We had a fabulous time at this super cute water front home. The location couldn’t be better! The beds were very comfortable & the kitchen is truly set with all the comforts of home. The management team was fantastic to work with. They accommodated all of our needs!

I've stayed at vacation rentals all over the world. Legitimately, this might be my absolute favorite. It's a beautiful little beach home. Well decorated, well equipped, and in as perfect a location as you can get! Miriam, the point of contact at Sun & Surf, is highly responsive & super friendly. At the end of our 3 day stay, none of us wanted to go home, b/c the home checked every box for us, darn near to perfection.

We rented this home for our annual girls retreat with 6 of us who have been friends for 30 years!!! The house was great, can't beat the location. The only negative is we all got bit by something we could not figure out what it was in the 4 days we were their, I think the place needs to be fumigated. The house was clean but that was the only issue we had.

This house is absolutely perfect for a family with small kids. Adults can sit on the patio while kiddos play on the beach and everyone gets to relax. The house is around the corner from the main drag where you can pick up groceries, shop, go to restaurants, and, of course, get your daily dose of frozen bananas and Balboa bars. The management company was super prompt and courteous and the house was lovely inside. Two king bedrooms also allows for comfortable sleeping for two couples (in our case parents and grandparents). Can’t recommend this highly enough!

What an incredible location right next to Marine Avenue. We enjoyed the beach amenities, chairs, towels and umbrellas. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and high level cookware.
