I stayed here with some friends who came to visit me in Laguna Beach, choosing it mostly for the location (outdoor space and multiple parking spots also a plus!). The space was great for us and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Laguna is probably our family's favorite beach. The rental at 346 Mermaid st. Is located right downtown and only a few blocks from the beach. We really enjoyed the property. Had everything we needed for a mini vacation.

Very nice comfortable small cottage. Location is unbeatable. Very nicely equipped. Only two points made it a little uncomfortable.
1. The noise, not late night as that is expected given location, and frankly it's not much to worry about, however the early morning trucks are bothersome. They go down the back lane every morning at around 620 am, very noisy.
2. The owner has an endless list of dos and don'ts. They require you to sign a detailed contract and have a list of potential penalties. While a lot are simply common sense many make you feel needlessly self-conscious on a vacation. Similar to staying with unwelcoming family.
Overall nice place and great location among the best spots for a place in Laguna,

We understand that in can be noisy at times given the location of the property and on the scheduled trash days. That is something that is out of our control. As it pertains to the signage that we post in the home; we do that to protect the owner's property as best as we can. We have had some incidents in the past with guests damaging certain items in the home and items needed to be fixed or replaced. We have also had guests appreciate the way we place some signage and our rules as it is our way to ensure the property is well maintained and managed for the homeowners at all times and that our guests enjoy their time in the home. We apologize if it was a little unsettling to you as we always want to ensure our guests are comfortable and enjoy their experience. We enjoyed hosting you and we appreciate you being considerate guests. Thank you for booking with us and hope you return for another stay in the future.

The location was very easy to find on Google maps. A lot of the restaurants and the beach were in walking distance! Jordan was so easy to get ahold of and was very quick with fixing the lock to get in as my pin didn't work.

The cottage is in a great location by downtown Laguna. I have lived within close proximity to Laguna most of life, but never took the time to wander around downtown and visit the plethora of galleries, which we did and thoroughly enjoyed.
The house was clean, beds comfortable, all the kitchen supplies, towels, etc. we needed. I accidentally hit the switch to turn the water heater off, text the staff and they responded immediately to help figure out the issue. The only thing I would say is that due to the central location of the cottage it does get busy outside at times. Not super loud at all, but people do walk up and down the adjacent sidewalk, park in a lot just beside the house, etc. The noise wasn’t an issue for us but just a heads up.
For any out of towners coming to visit the beach- please don’t limit yourself to Main Beach. There are cove beaches within walking distance north of Main Beach that mainly locals go to. Check the tide because it’s best to go close to low tide. Go explore. Also, Urth Cafe just South of Main Beach is also walking distance and has amazing food.
Overall, we enjoyed our vacay and the cottage.
