Mermaid Cottage By The Sea

The Mermaid Cottage by the Sea was the perfect place for our family to spend our daughter's wedding weekend! It had plenty of space for the 8 of us, and the yard was amazing! We felt right at home in the lovely space and beautiful neighborhood!

We had a wonderful time at the Mermaid Cottage by the Sea. My family and my husband and I were there for my stepson's wedding and the house was the perfect size for the seven of us! It was clean and beautifully decorated! It was within walking distance to the beach and was perfectly located from all if our weddings events. We even managed to fit in a couple of days in Disneyland! Only a 15-20 minute drive!! The management staff couldn't have been nicer and were great to work with! I left my phone at the house, and I live on the East Coast. I contacted the property manager, Jordan, and he was wonderful! He shipped my phone right back to me and I had it within a few days!! It was such a memorable trip!! The Mermaid Cottage by the Sea did not disappoint!!

Super easy check in/out. Kitchen was spectacular and back yard great for kids. Garage was easy for storing surf boards and bikes. Only negative was not super easy to walk to beach down steep long steps to beach. T street and San Clemente state beach still a super quick drive.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mermaid Cottage. It was clean and offered lots of room for us all to be comfortable. (3 bathrooms!) We started our week off with a very wet hurricane but luckily it didn't linger and we had sunny nice weather the rest of our stay. The house had lots of beach essentials and toys. We used them all. Our 2 year old granddaughter was happy to have some sand toys. Flying in from out of state, one can't bring chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, coolers, boogie boards etc. Yet all those really are 'necessary' for a beach vacation. Management was very easy to work with and I could recommend this house to others.

We loved our stay! The home was cozy and cute! The owners and property management team have thought of everything. The beach gear was especially nice to have, and we loved how close the beach was--within walking distance. Comfortable beds, clean home, and the fire pit in the backyard was fun! Communication before hand was professional and prompt. They went above and beyond to answer all our questions. We would love to return!

I rented this for family in town for my daughter's wedding. Although I never spent more than 30 minutes in the home, I was very impressed on the size, the upgrades, the cleanliness and the decor. My family was delighted with it inside and out. The backyard is wonderful too! The Sand and Surf contact I was working with, Jordan, went above and beyond to make the experience seamless and was great to work with.

You never know what you are going to get when renting a house. This property is everything advertised plus more! A short walk to the beach (a 2 & 3 year old was able to make it), great neighborhood, great house, great backyard. We loved our stay and will go back! We had 5 adults and 5 young kids.

We had a wonderful time in SAN Clemente. The house lived up to its photos. Plenty of room for everyone. Everything you need in a house was provided. Beds were extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay here again

Arriving was a joy. No issues in locating home. From the Front door to the back fence everything was perfect and more than expected.

We were very comfortable at the house and couldn’t be happier with our choice. The house was super clean, sparking, bright and very well appointed.

Our stay at the Mermaid Cottage was sod wonderful. We were in town for 5 days for our son's wedding at Casa Romantica and the Mermaid Cottage was a clean and quiet get away from the crazy celebrations! Everything is the house made us feel at home, and it was clean, quiet and very comfortable. We will stay there again if we are in town!

My family and I truly enjoyed 5 amazing days at this house. The house was spotless, had comfortable beds, big kitchen, and close to the beach. What else could you ask for! We can't wait to come back. Loved staying in San Clemente.

Absolutely great home and would stay here again. Well furnished, clean, great backyard, great location only 2 blocks from beach entrance. Management was super responsive, kind and helpful.
