Within walking distance to the sandy beach, this 2 bed/1 bath half duplex features central heat and air conditioning, and a private, tropical zen-inspired patio. Get away from the everyday and escape to beach luxury right here!
The beach cottage has been designed to provide you with similar luxuries to a resort-style hotel. Bath and beach towels are provided for your stay. The primary bedroom features a luxurious king-size bed, ensuring a comfortable and restful night's sleep. The second bedroom offers two twin beds, perfect for accommodating additional guests or family members. The living room boasts a comfortable queen size sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress, allowing the entire home to sleep up to 6 people. Each bedroom comes with a plush pillow-top mattress, crisp white linens, and plenty of comfortable pillows and blankets. Need to do laundry? We've got you covered with a full-size washer/dryer along with laundry detergent and dryer sheets fully stocked for your use.
Central air! The majority of the homes in this area do not have air conditioning. We've got you covered with central heat and air conditioning. No matter what the temperature is outside, we will make sure you are more than comfortable inside!
Gourmet cooking is made possible in our fully stocked kitchen! We have everything you can possibly think of for cooking up a storm—an assortment of cookware and kitchen staples.
Entertainment is made possible in our open concept living room! The beach cottage has been designed for your ultimate entertainment experience with an open concept living room/kitchen. The living room features a flat-screen TV, DVD player, an assortment of classic movies on DVD, and a Bluetooth speaker system.
The private, enclosed, zen-inspired patio is your own tropical oasis! Furnished with comfortable and stylish patio sofas, a patio dining table, a cozy hammock under a palm thatched hut, a BBQ, a lush tropical garden, and games like corn hole and full-size Jenga, you might not want to leave the house.
Looking to take a bike ride down to the beach? We've thought of it all. The beach cottage comes with four top-of-the-line beach cruisers! There is also an assortment of beach equipment available for your use—everything from surfboards, body boards, beach chairs/umbrellas, and coolers.
Location, location, location! The beach is a 0.5-mile walk. Capistrano Beach borders Dana Point's beach, and the famous surf town of San Clemente. Grab one of the beach cruisers and take a short ride down to Dana Point Harbor or San Clemente Pier.

This cottage has a great beach vibe, it is decorated very tastefully. Very comfortable and well stocked, we really did not cook but the kitchen has utensils, pans, etc. There is an outdoor patio which we enjoyed while drinking our morning coffee. Our host was kind enough to leave a necessary and complimentary first dose of coffee.
Having a washer/dryer in the unit was very convenient for us as we did need to wash my daughter's competition uniform.

We had a great stay. Rules were strict, but understandable. You want a clean place, need to make sure you stay clean. It is a duplex so share a wall with the neighbor so need to keep noise down. Which is slightly difficult when playing family games and laughing. Amenities of the grill, washer and dryer, and the boogie boards were great! Please note, it is a 2 bedroom and not a 3. Pull out sofa is in the living room, not separate bedroom.

The home was clean and well stocked. It was very comfortable for my family. The patio was well maintained and spacious. There was lots of beach gear, and we were a super close walk, drive or bike to the ocean. If you plan to ride the bikes to the beach, I would bring a bike lock. We didn’t have one with us, so we couldn’t take them to the beach.

From the cute comfortable neighborhood to the inviting patio base, this was everything we needed for myself and two kids. My husband wasn’t able to make the trip, so it was a little concerned about traveling without him. There was no need to be concerned. This sweet residence had everything we needed, and, great accessible location. The best part was the staff. Communicated very well and even gave some personal recommendations. Very helpful and responsive.

The host came on the property 4 separate times during our 4 night stay. Of those 4 times, they only notified us once they would be there. In addition, the host decided to renovate the backyard with a full landscape crew during our stay. We were woken up at 7 am on our final day by the landscape crew right outside the patio door of our bedroom. A blatant violation of our privacy. To add injury to insult, the host also was asking us to checkout while the landscape crew blocked our car in the driveway. Stay away.

The photos are exactly what I found when I walked in this very cute and homey property. It was sparkling clean and smelled clean too. The kitchen is well stocked and I was able to prepare every meal I wanted there. I had friends over one day and the backyard was perfect for lunch in the sunshine on the patio. It did take me a few days to work out the shortcuts but the location is convenient to all surrounding towns and highways.
The owner was very responsive and replaced a broken TV remote within a day of reporting it.
Wifi in the house was great. Telephone reception in the area is not strong however while I was there AT&T were in the neighbourhood installing fibre optic connetions which are due to go live at the end of January.
Loved my stay and would definitely return.

We stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely happy with everything. Rooms are nice and clean with great decorations. Great place with all amenities, nice and quiet area. All in all it was a great experience.

Great place. Easy check in and check out. Super comfortable beds. As others have stated, there are signs everywhere with detailed instructions...But it seems to be working because the place is in impeccable condition. We loved having a garage to store our bikes.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Capistrano Beach Cottage. The location was perfect for us since we were a first time visitor to the area. You can walk less than a mile to Capistrano Beach and the bike path. San Clemente Pier and Dana Point Harbor are just a short drive away. Salt Creek Beach Park is very nice and there is a great paved path for walking or biking. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The private backyard is a bonus.
There are many restaurants to choose from in the area. We especially enjoyed our meals at the Coastal Kitchen and Ciao Pasta. We would definitely recommend the Capistrano Beach Cottage to our friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay here! Easy and convenient to get to beaches, restaurants, and all activities. The home is well-appointed and comfortable, with a private backyard to relax in when you've had enough beach.

Kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. Place was spotless. Private outside garden was well done. Location is great and it is a short, steep hill down to ocean.

Miriam's place was great! It’s location is perfect for walking or riding bikes to the beach and has every amenity you could need. The place was well stocked, perfectly cleaned and the backyard was great for hanging out in after being at the beach.

Rented both sides of the duplex for a wedding - perfect setup for parents to sleep on one side and bridal party to sleep on the other side. Every detail was carefully planned! The amenities are so thoughtful. It had everything you could possibly need! 10/10 recommend!
